My client are a leading global investment bank currently seeking multiple Python Developers to work within an exciting area of the business. You will be responsible for building data pipelines and integrating them with various inte al or exte al systems, contributing to architectural decisions, understanding engineering processes as a whole- including contribution to monitoring application health, infrastructure set-up, CI/CD, etc.

You will work with data scientists and business stakeholders as end consumers of the pipelines to ensure the team are meeting their requirements. You will contribute to the team’s strategy around development and deployment best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an important greenfield project, which will have huge impact on the business and future architecture in this area.

Rate advertised is via Umbrella. This role ca ot sponsor at this time. Currently fully remote with flexible model once safe to do so. Candidates need to be based in/around London. 12 month rolling contract.

Required skills:

  • Excellent Python Development skills (min 5 years)
  • Good experience working on data-driven projects
  • Strong data pipeline experience
  • SQL, Oracle or Mongo DB (at least one)

Nice to have skills:

  • Kafka
  • PySpark
  • Financial services experience
