Job Description

We are looking for strong backend developers with AWS, PySpark and Snowflake experience. Big Data technology (Hadoop, Hive, PySpark, SQL) is a plus. The consultant will work onsite as a contractor at our client site.

You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design with focus around MicroStrategy and Tableau.

Due to Covid location will be remote until restrictions are lifted. We are unable to sponsor for visa at this time. C2C, 1099 welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud environment, PySpark and Python
• At least 3 years of experience in Snowflake environment especially with Snowflake Schemas
• Extensive programming experience in PySpark and Python
• Any BigData component experience a plus
• Good communication skills
• Competencies in database architectures such as relative, star and snowflake schemas.

Contract length: 6 months
