PTC Creo CAD Developer (Remote)

Overview

We require a contract CAD developer to work remotely for a 2-3 month contract. They will be responsible for extending, developing, testing, and deploying CAD customisations in PTC Creo using the C++ Creo Object Toolkit. These customisations will be for proof of concepts that we are developing for our various customer use cases enabling immersive (AR/VR) and collaborative capabilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Integrate external applications requiring access to Creo Parametric and Creo Direct data or operations.
• Create processes to run automatically without a user interface on-demand or at designated times.
• Allow commands and other data to be sent bi-directionally too and from Creo to our application runtime.
• Work closely with our team who are writing and maintaining our runtime in C#.

Essential Skills & experience

• Proven commercial experience of working with and extending Creo Parametric and Creo Direct using the toolkits and APIs.
• C/C++ experience with knowledge of pointers, data structures, and dynamic memory management 
• Commercial experience with GIT and excellent understanding of GIT workflows.
• Experience and familiarity with working practices such as Agile, Lean, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps.
