What you'll need to succeed

My client is looking for a Project Manager to join the organisation on a contract basis. The position is based in North Greenwich.

Essential

• Proven track record in the delivery of software development
• Sound organisation skills, excellent stakeholder management skills
• Awareness and understanding of system integration and testing
• Ability to working with third party suppliers

The client is looking for a project manager who understands the software delivery life cycle, however not for hands on development experience. You will project manage the technical delivery of large scale IT Software Implementation projects, liaising with the senior team to ensure business change is aligned to technical delivery and be responsible for the oversight of a number of different technical projects.

Skills:

• End to end programme management
• Ability to join midway through the project and assist with delivery
• Stakeholder Management
• Understanding of Software Development/Implementation
• Large scale £££ projects
• Managing team of technical testers and subject matter experts from internal payroll and reporting
• Proven track record in the delivery of software development
• Sound organisation skills
• Awareness and understanding of system integration and testing
• Ability to working with third party suppliers
• Supplier Management (Managing 3rd party delivery to contract)
• Procurement (e.g OJEU or similar Government Framework with commercial experience)
• Systems Integration (managing projects as an SI where there is interfacing between systems and end to end testing of systems)
• Senior Stakeholder Management
