Production Designer & Webmaster (Remote)

This is a temporary, full-time position, with the possibility for ongoing work

We’re seeking an extremely tech-savvy employee with experience in designing and delivering digital content for web, social media, email, and even some print.

Duties center around marrying content, copy, video & visual assets for delivery in all of our marketing channels and content delivery platforms. The position is responsible for creating most of the imagery that comes out of the organization, and for pushing the same into actual production - whether for digital products, marketing, presentations, or promotions. The successful candidate should feel equally comfortable creating, posting, and curating content for our website under the direction and support of the team.

Must be a self-directed self starter.

Must have experience with:

  • Editing web Pages, Landing Pages, and Mini-site creation/edits/postings/formatting – through a content management system (we use Drupal)
  • HTML and CSS skills are highly encouraged to ensure proper formatting; some JavaScript and related front-end experience is a big plus, but not necessary;
  • Light Video editing, and PowerPoint
  • Know the basics of Adobe programs (we use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, but are open to your preferences)
  • Mailchimp
  • Basic knowledge of Print design and production, including setting up a document bleed for ads, flyers, postcards, posters, brochures, etc.

Your Responsibilities

Design:

  • Photo selection, manipulation, creation, retouching, motion graphics, GIF creation, illustration, video editing, social media posts, digital ads, and web banners
  • Marketing materials for promoters and partners
  • Company printed materials (brochures, flyers, postcards, bookmarks, posters, etc.)
  • Visuals for pages and cards and courses in our learning management system
  • External websites’ promotions and page creation when needed
  • Occasionally create and/or edit PowerPoints for graphic appearance

Email:

  • Design, format, test, seek approval for and push out marketing emails, promotional emails, product/system follow-up emails, and newsletters
  • Set up templates for outgoing emails, that assist other employees with lesser design skills and tech knowledge can work in to help develop outgoing content and communications
  • Set up email tracking links for Google Analytics

Webmaster:

  • Experience building and maintaining webpages (Experience with Drupal is a bonus) Will train the right person who is willing to learn. We have website builders that we contract with. You would be creating new pages utilizing already existing templates.
  • Must know basics of code to alter spacing, height width, colors etc...
  • Responsible for the look and feel of our website, and for posting and maintaining the majority of the content therein
  • Creation of visuals for our products and product pages (presentations, webinars, courses, events, etc.)
  • Creation of Landing Pages and click funnels for various products
  • Promote the creation of web content in a way that contributes to SEO
  • Website URL and path redirect maintenance
  • Ability to search, pull, and help maintain customer data for various marketing needs – helping to ensure the right audience is targeted at all times.
  • Will train the right candidate who already has basic ability to alter code

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract with possible opportunity to stay on.
