Product Designer (Remote)

Responsibilities for Product Designer

• Leads the design process for packaging materials for products, including brainstorming, sketching, and creating prototypes
• Works with clients to understand their needs
• Evaluates consumer and market trends for packaging materials
• Collaborates with marketing and creative teams, especially graphic designers and copywriters, to create eye-catching designs
• Presents designs to clients and stakeholders using sketches and design software; ensures successful representation of clients’ brands
• Redesigns prototypes based on feedback from clients, engineers and consumer safety groups

Qualifications for Product Designer

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field (preferred but not required)
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent eye for detail

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,700.00 - $5,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
