Duties and Responsibilities

Principal engineers manage all phases of technical AI, Big Data, machine learning, Blockchain projects. They oversee proprietary product's or project’s conception, design and initial product specifications and manage scheduling, estimating and securing materials.

Draft engineering scope of work with clients, track project progress and keep costs under control. Principal engineers also conduct engineering studies and investigations, and prepare reports for company leadership. They also provide engineering guidance to other departments, help to train new engineers and keep abreast of industry trends and issues.

Requirements

-Master’s Degree in Computer Science or any discipline of engineering including electrical, mechanical, physics, mathematics or microelectronic engineering or equivalent professional experience. Background must include engineering fundamentals along with physics and mathematics.

-5-10 years’ experience working as an engineer with some junior engineer supervisory experience

-Hands on individual contributor experience building data systems with AI or machine learning components

-Experience with NLP is desirable

-Must be client facing

-Must be willing to travel to clients approximately 1 week a month

Job Type: Contract

Experience:
