Title: REMOTE JOB: Principal Software Engineer
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Possible Extension)

NOTE: Candidates can work REMOTELY until further notice.
Description:
Candidates MUST be local to MA - while role will be 90% remote, Manager confirmed every so often this worker will be needed onsite so local candidates are a must.
Candidates must have 8+ years working in software development
What you will do
Design, develop, and maintain software capabilities that will provide, accessibility, security, or
accuracy of ***'s connected product data
Work with cross functionally to enable automated monitoring, data logging, and test metrics of
numerous robotic test systems in real time, with little to no downtime
Create a flexible UI for use by technicians and managers
Deploy the project remotely for use worldwide
Use this collected data to create various automated analytics sites and reports

Qualifications:
8+ years working in software development, building, and delivering data-driven applications with Angular JS, and python
Experience building microservice architectures, data pipelines, or data processing frameworks
Experience writing automated tests to ensure the quality of your software components
Comfortable designing, developing, testing, and operating what you build
Familiarity with AWS cloud computing and desire to work in AWS serverless or managed services such as S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
Familiarity with privacy and security development best practices
Capacity and eagerness to learn
Experience with database design via SQL or similar
Knowledge Python, or C/C++
