A Principal Planner with Primavera P6 experience is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client> based in Cumbria
Overview of the Principal Planner contract role
Our client is looking for a Planning professional who will be supporting the Combat Systems Equipment Group North (CSEGN) Team. As the Principal planner you will be creating and Maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule in Primavera 6.
CSEGN mainly specialise in the delivery of the Navigation systems on both Astute& Dreadnought, and are the delegated Technical Authority for both platforms.
CSEGN also provides In-Service support capability to both Submarines& Surface Ships, which include Tomahawk In-Service Support. The department consists of a Project Management Team, Engineering Team (Hardware & Software), Drawing Office, Production & Quality Control / Stores.
Key skills required for the Principal Planner
The role is based in < Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District >
