Harrington Starr is working with one of the most exclusive Hedge Funds in the city who are looking for a full stack BI and SQL specialist to work with a close knit team on some major projects across all areas of the business. The initial weeks will be mostly tactical getting up to speed with how the company works, then work will become a lot more strategy focused working on several Greenfield projects in middle, front, and back office. There are numerous projects across Business intelligence that require someone that has vast knowledge across several BI technologies. The role requires an extremely strong and versatile BI and SQL developer than can work both the front end delivery side and back end cube work. You will be using a broad range of technologies with a focus on Reporting, Cubes, Visualization, SQL development, Tabular models, and tactical solutions.
You will be joining 3 BI developers who are known throughout the industry as some of the best technologist out there. You will be joining an environment where your ideas matter. The company puts a lot of value on their technology team and is keen to bring on another outstanding BI and SQL developer that can take them to the next level. This job requires someone who can smash projects quickly working a lot with troubleshooting and fire fighting. As a SQL/BI developer you will also be involved in some front end work around Angular and Javascript, these skills are not a necessity but if you have them it is a huge bonus. The role is a perfect fit for a passionate technologist who keeps up to date with new technologies and regularly attends industry events. The SQL/BI developer will be the one to provide solutions and if they think their way of doing things are better than existed then it is looked at.
