PHP WordPress Developer (Remote)

REV77 is, a fast-growing digital marketing agency based out of Tempe, Arizona, currently seeking a PHP WordPress Developer. The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record of success, strong work ethic, great attention to detail and creating and launching WordPress websites for small to enterprise level businesses. Applicants with digital marketing agency experience would be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience designing WordPress websites, including ecommerce and web application interfaces
• Ability to develop a WordPress theme utilizing Photoshop mockups and layouts
• Ability to apply thoughtful UX to every design concept
• Expert communication skills with clients and local team members
• Natural ability to manage your time, prioritize work, complete, and QA multiple projects
• Need to provide a link to a portfolio with resume

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of WordPress, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML 4/5, PHP, and CSS
• 3+ years of experience developing WordPress sites, including custom theme and plugin development
• 2+ years UX design experience
• Familiarity with using versioning systems such as GitHub and GitLab
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process and best practices would be a plus
• Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementation and configuration would be a plus
• Experience developing cross browser and cross platform compatible solutions
• Experience using and developing responsive designs
• Experience using debugging tools
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of mobile and web design standards and technologies, including iOS, Android, Mac OSX, and Windows
• Highly organized, thorough and detail oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, driven, and independent
