Programmer – PHP Web Application/UI Development and Maintenance

Status: 1099-Contractor

Part-time

Location: Florida / Remote

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

Verde GSE is a ground support equipment (GSE) manufacturer, primarily offering preconditioned air products and solutions to airports, airline and military installations worldwide.

We are rapidly growing and are currently seeking a Part-time Programmer to assist in redesigning, supporting and maintaining our proprietary web-based controller application. This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor who prefers to work a flexible schedule. This position can be performed remotely, but occasional on-site attendance may be required.

We are looking for creative, forward-thinking self-starters who can help us achieve the next level with our web-based applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Responsibilities for this Position May Include and Would Not Be Limited To:

• SQL Database Management

• Programming Skills – Must be fluent in PHP (C++ a plus)

• Web layout, design and maintenance

• HTML and CSS (style sheet) programming

• General IT / Networking Support

• Application development / Reports

• Knowledge of API and Webservices a plus

Required Skills/Experience

• 5+ years website application design and maintenance experience

• Skilled in using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS

• Knowledge of Java Script

• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Power Point, Excel, etc.)

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

BS in Engineering, Computer Programming preferred, or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years’ experience working with web application design and controls
