PHP Software Developer (Remote)

About this Position:

• Your responsibilities would include helping migrate our Cake PHP back office application and developing new APIs for both internal and external use.

• This is of course a remote position for the time being. Once we get past the Covid-19 restrictions this role may in future become an office based role in Austin, Texas

• Our regularly scheduled business hours are Monday-Friday / 9am-5.30pm

• Please note that our culture allows flexibility in your schedule.

Required Skills:

• Experience with microservice architecture best practices

• Development in MVC frameworks (Cake, Laravel and Lumen a plus)

• Prolific troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Test-driven development

• Proven work as LAMP Developer

• Strong verbal and written fluency in English

Added Value:

• Experience with API design, development and support tools such as Swagger, Postman and Insomnia

• Able to leverage AWS services such as SNS, SQS, and Lambda

• Redis / Memcache

• Mandrill, Slack, Stripe, Zapier, other common APIs all a plus
