PHP Developer with WordPress Experience

Position: We are looking for a PHP Developer with experience in WordPress and Front End technologies. This is a contract job that can be done remotely (~10 hours). We are looking to hire as soon as possible, so points if you are free to work quickly. There is more opportunity for after a successful project.

Requirements:

• Extremely strong understanding of PHP, and proven experience developing production-quality applications. (extra points for 4+ years of PHP)
• Skilled in WordPress and Front End technologies like Bootstrap.
• Come with background in API and complex integrations.
• Firm background with Javascript, HTML5, CSS, jQUERY, and XML.
• Experienced with optimization, load analysis and unit testing.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns (Laravel), and relational databases.
• A big plus if you are experienced with AWS and Linux administration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions for limitations of PHP app, and integrate with APIs to connect technologies like Zoho CRM and Wordpress.
• Use creative thinking to solve, plan, and develop solution to highly integrated app.
• Coordinate with designers, developers, and business analysts to incorporate holistic business goals in your planned solutions.
• Optimize (and potentially create) a process to consolidate different data storage systems.

The Location: This role can be completed remotely, although candidates with time zones closer to ET are preferred.
