An award-winning client based in Watford is actively recruiting for a talented PHP Developer who has strong experience with Laravel / Lumen Frameworks and PHP Unit testing to come and join their team.
This role falls outside of IR35.
Due to current lockdown measures, you will be working remotely from home, however, once restrictions are eased, there is an expectation for you to come to the office 3 days a week and 2 days a week work from home.
To apply for this role you must possess strong experience with the following:
- PHP Excellent working experience and knowledge of PHP, object-oriented programming and unit/integration testing.
- Laravel and Lumen frameworks Solid working experience with these frameworks.
- Git
- MySQL Experience writing complex queries and integrating PHP applications with large MySQL databases.
- PHP Unit Testing
Experience in unit testing and the ability to write automated tests using PHPUnit.
Experience within the following areas are useful but not essential (my client supplies developers with MacBooks):
- Jira
- Bitbucket
- Docker
- PHP Storm
The right candidate must be able to work effectively within a team. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both a written and verbal capacity is essential. Self-organisation and reliability are also extremely important.
Excellent market rates are payable, with a view for a long term contract.
