Part Time UX/UX Designer (Remote)

Job Summary:

As a fast-growing design and development agency for BigCommerce, we’re looking for a designer to help assist our one-man design team with our workload. We’re looking for a designer who has experience in both graphic design and UX design, as the designer will be assisting with not only creating graphic elements for our clients’ many stores, but conceptualizing and designing web pages and full websites for new and existing clients. You’ll be working remotely with a small, ambitious, motivated team, to produce quality work collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Design anywhere from simple web pages to full websites for new and existing clients

• Create project proposals using our existing template in Adobe InDesign

• Edit photos and create other image assets (i.e. banners/ads) as needed for clients

• Review (QA) design portion of development work after initial development is completed

• Utilize our project management software Wrike for all projects

• Complete all assignments within the provided time frame

• Assist Lead Designer as needed

Requirements:

• Must have experience in both graphic design and UX design

• Must be fluent with UX Design Software (i.e. Adobe XD/Sketch/Figma/InVision)

• Must be fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign

• Must have an easy-to-access portfolio of your work

• 2+ years experience working with e-commerce preferred

• Experience in project management software preferred

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
