Part-Time PHP Developer (Remote)

Verge Networks is seeking a talented PHP developer / web developer / software developer who writes clean code and thrives in a small team environment.

Our Company:

Verge Networks is a technology vendor who provides all facets of technology solutions to their clients, from web and software development; software and hardware integration under various applications; to networking infrastructure design, implementation, and management; advanced WiFi and point-to-point solutions; general small business and corporate technology support, and more. We've secured contracts for various work that's included various first responded organizations, municipal and state agencies, as well as federal government work, including ongoing consulting with the Department of Defense.

Candidate Experience/Responsibilities/Prerequisites:

• Proficient with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Proficient understanding of asynchronous request handling, cross-browser compatibility troubleshooting, and code versioning tools.
• Self-motivated, able to collaborate in a small team environment with minimal supervision.
• A commitment to coding standards, documentation, and best practices
• Able to develop new features based on client requirements.

• Able build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Located in Central Ohio.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $35.00 to $45.00 /hour
