CampusWell is an online health and wellness outreach platform used by hundreds of colleges, universities, and high schools around the U.S. and Canada. Each month, students learn about eating well, staying active, reducing stress, relationships, sexual health, mental health, money management, and much more through our online content. Designers are responsible for producing all editorial content in an interactive, accessible, and visually engaging way for our audience as well as all promotional, social, and marketing materials for clients. The Design team works closely with the Edit and Production teams to coordinate the delivery of these wellness-related education materials to millions of students each month.

Role

Graphic Designers are responsible for producing multiple editions of CampusWell each month (digital) as well as all accompanying promotional materials (print and social media). Common tasks include, but are not limited to, WordPress post layout, infographic design, producing print promotional materials, designing email images, producing original designs for social media content, proofing and revising work. As part of the design team, Graphic Designers report to the Senior Designer and may be asked to assist with other design related tasks as needed.

This position is remote-based and hours will vary from week to week, but should average about 10-15 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work hours between 9am-5pm EST, Tuesday, through Thursday, with a consistent schedule set each week.

**This position will be contracted for 90 days with potential for extension. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to the long-term requirement.**

At a minimum you should have:

• Experience designing for both print and digital needs
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with WordPress environments
• Experience with Canva
• Experience with Google Suite
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of current social issues and willingness to produce highly inclusive design
• Familiarity with creating and working within templates
• Excellent command of vocabulary, spelling, and grammar
• Strong drive, commitment, and dedication to producing quality products under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to receive feedback positively and in return, provide constructive feedback
• Interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships in a remote team environment

Bonus points for:

• Experience with AA compliant design
• Social media management experience
• Basic video production skills

Job Duties:

• Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
• Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
• Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
• Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
• Other duties as requested
