JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide for the design implementation documentation and administration of enterprise middleware SOA/OSB infrastructure supporting a wide variety of both intranet and internet facing applications.
Define, design, and implement complex composites using BPEL, OSB, Human workflow, Business rules, JDeveloper, XML, Java, SOAP, REST and other protocols.
Collaborate with internal development resources network administrator’s peers and the architecture team to deliver middleware solutions utilizing Oracle WebLogic and SOA suite of products.
Support our existing Java applications and new development efforts as we continue our migration effort to Java / J2EE technologies and SQL, PL/SQL
Monitor SOA processes using the OEM interface, adept at drilling down to the point of failure and investigating specific issues independently.
Administer SOA/OSB Fusion Middleware environment and custom services deployed.
Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for environmental issues as they arise.
Provide on-going technical support to the SOA development.
Prepare and deliver technical documentation as required.
Ensure accurate project status and work estimates (ETCs) are always reported /communicated to project leaders/managers in a timely fashion.
Ensure issues are analyzed discussed and resolved in a timely manner.
Develops strategies to manage the frequency of appropriate support package/patch application.
Automate the administration of the application start up scripts and run-time environment tasks where possible.
Develop SOA/OSB configuration migration and application deployment plans.
Monitor and manage SOA Components by using the Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control Console to perform administrative tasks.
Expertise in migration and up gradation of SOA and updating JDK versions, applying patches and installing service packs .
Configuring, Deploying and Monitoring the SOA composite applications.
Clusters and Load Balancing implementing, High Availability and Failover functionality.
Performance tuning of JVM heap size, garbage collections, java stack and Native thread production performance.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle SOA Middleware Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
Analyzing thread dump and heap dump for Weblogic application server.
Experience with Oracle Weblogic, Sql, UNIX Shell scripting, CVS or other source control system and multi-threaded/multi-process application.
Active involvement in monitoring the server performance, network traffic to reduce performance bottleneck.
Configuring, monitoring and managing the EM Console and Web logic Admin Console
Strong Development and troubleshooting skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Weblogic (11g -12c)
Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans
