Gerrard White are keen to find an Oracle PL/SQL Analyst/Developer within asset management / investment management for a six month contract term.
We\'re looking for an Analyst Developer to work within the Performance and Attribution capability aligned team who primarily work on the Factset B-One application toolset.
Analyst Developers are responsible for contributing to all aspects of analysis, design, development, and testing of solutions within a sprint cadence.
Whilst the Analyst Developer\'s core contribution will be software development and engineering tasks, they also significantly contribute to analysis, testing and delivery activities.
Suitable applicants will have:
Expert knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
Experience using the Factset B-One platform.
Demonstrable working knowledge of Performance and Attribution.
Experience working with large volumes of data
Reporting suites e.g. SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft Power BI
Source control repositories e.g. Git
Knowledge of MS Access
DevOps concepts e.g. continuous integration, testing and delivery
Java and Unix technologies
Experience using Agile methodologies (ideally SAFe)
Financial background, ideally Investment Management, Banking, Asset Management
The role will be based remotely initially and then City of London when safe to do.
