Our banking client is looking for a Network Engineer AND Network Administrator to join their team on a 6-month contract. The Network Admin would have more junior-level experience and support the Engineer on this team. This is a 100% fully remote role. Our client can only work with U.S. Citizens at this time.

This resource would hit the ground running on projects such as cross-connecting with Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon in the cloud via their Equinix ECX and ICX connectivity. Other ongoing projects include the virtualization of their F5 Big IP environment. This resource would also provide support to the network operations team dealing with everyday networking-related issues.
Experience in the cloud with vendors like Cisco, MS, Amazon would be ideal. Cisco route/switch/Firewall, Palo Alto, F5, wireless, SDWAN are some of the other important technologies.
Important to note that they are merging with another large bank and there will be a lot of troubleshooting as well as integration work so experience with all the major network vendors is a huge plus.
