My public sector organisation are looking for a Network Engineer on a initial 6 month contract, based in Glasgow. They are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude, a logical approach to trouble shooting and problem solving, and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

Your new role
As a network engineer you'll have responsibility for setting up, developing and maintaining computer networks within the organisation. You'll offer support to users, and troubleshoot any problems that arise. You may, in some cases, also be involved in designing new networks

What you'll need to succeed

* ITIL v3 Foundation accredited or experience working to an ITIL framework
* Cisco CCNA/CCNP accredited

Routing:

• Administration of dynamic & static routing protocols

• Administration of WAN services incorporating Cisco ISR routers

Switching:

• Administration of switching protocols across core, distribution and access network including VLAN / HSRP / STP, vPC
• Configuration & deployment of LAN services incorporating Cisco switches
• Administration of Cisco data centre switches

Unified Communications:

• Administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager 10.5x, Unified Contact Centre Express 10.5x

Network Security:

• Administration of Cisco ISE
• Administration of Cisco ASA NGFWs and NGIPS
• Administration of F5 Big-IP LTM & DNS
• Configuration of IPSEC, Cisco SSL & Cisco Any Connect VPNs
