Network Engineer

A multinational Financial services company are in urgent need for a experienced Network Engineer to take on the responsibility for network deployment for all business units for London/Europe/Asia. The value of the position is to operate at a mid-level within the team, and act as a deployment engineer taking direction from SME's and Project teams.

Resposibilities;

• Network Deployment of; LAN Infrastructure, Market Data and firewall/extranet infrastructure, Internet technologies, multicast connectivity
• 2nd line support of network infrastructure
• Maintain technical standards and supporting documentation
• Maintain project standards and documentation
• The team in London is small, and the incumbent will be required to work to a high standard with limited supervision
• Providing high quality support within the London network campus

Required skills;

• Very experienced with Cisco & Arista hardware and IOS
• Excellent understanding of multicast technology
• Excellent understanding of various MDS and exchange applications such as RMDS, Eurex, Thomson Reuters etc.
• Good understanding of IP protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, OSPF etc.)
• Experience of Arista Network technology
• Investment Banking experience
• Industry recognised qualification such as Cisco CCA/CCNP/CCIE
