Our client one of the leading Defence focused organisations is currently looking for a Network Engineer initially on a 6 months basis.

As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for the Analysis, Design and Build of Local Networks - LAN (including Cisco switch technology), Wide Area Networks, Security appliances, Wireless networking, telephony, firewalls and routers, including the planning of the implementation of these devices within an IT project framework.

Support and Maintain of the devices and software including monitoring, patching and maintenance to ensure continual security accreditation and compliance of the network estate.

Network Engineer experienced required;

• MPLS/OSPF routing
• Border gateway protocol
• Wireless networking and protocols
• TCP/IP routing protocols
• ISCSI networking
• Cisco technologies  Network + certification support skills
• Messaging/VOIP and Voice Technologies
• Analytical skills, to help analyze business requirements and relate them to appropriate IT infrastructure components and processes
