A large organisation based in West Yorkshire are looking to recruit a self-sufficient and self-motivated .Net Developer to join them on an initial 1 month contract.
Your new role Within your role you will be tasked with planning, designing, developing, coding, testing and maintenance of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products with good coding practices. In addition you will support the organisations assessors and auditing teams by enhancing the current offering of internal auditing software. Furthermore you will help develop and improve the application of evolving web standards to the existing systems.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role you should be a seasoned .Net Developer able to demonstrate your experience the following areas.
Demonstratable experience developing using Microsoft technologies including WCF, WPF and the use of XAML
Knowledge of Xamarin framework (experience preferred) to develop cross platform applications and in particular Xamarin Forms
Good experience with MySQL/ SQL
Good experience in ASP.NET technologies using VB.Net or C#.NET
Good Knowledge of Web development technology skills including HTML5, CSS3, AJAX/jQuery, XML
Comfortable with object-oriented design, problem solving and Performance optimisationVB.NET / C#.NET / ASP.NET - Preferred
Visual Studio, .NET Framework above 3.5, using LINQ, OOPS
Agile development methodologies
Experience of source control using git
Issue and project tracking software using Jira preferred
Microsoft Dynamics plugin and/or interaction using APIs preferred
Sage development interaction using APIs preferred
Understanding of software development methodologies and be able to work to tight deadlines
