Location: Remote/Albany, NY

Duration: 5 Year Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the discovery and analysis phase.
  • Participate in the design and development phase.
  • Design optimal solutions that meet functional requirements provided during the discovery and engineering phases
  • Flexible enough and be adaptable to the changing and varied work settings.
  • Aid in the development of system design and specification documents, administrative documentation and user documentation
  • Handle technical and customer issues

Qualifications:

  • Operating Systems
    • Experience in configuring/navigating Windows Servers, specifically IIS
  • Programming
    • .NET Core, WCF, .Net 4.5+, Visual Studio 2015,2017
    • C#/VB .NET
    • PowerShell
    • HTML/JavaScript/CSS
    • Azure Devops, GIT, Team Foundation Server 2012 or 2016 (TFS)
    • Continuous Integration
    • MVC, WebApi, Biztalk related experience
  • Data Manipulation
    • XML, XSLT and Xpath
    • SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
    • JSON
    • Entity Framework (ADO.net)
  • Database
    • SQL Server (SQL/T-SQL) 2016 or 2012

    • Leads design reviews to assess performance against design specifications, test reliability, and evaluate system interactions.
    • Deployment to All Environments is a must. Must be very hand on with GIT and TFS and Deployments.
    • Assesses complex technical challenges and provide simple software solutions for Web/ Desktop and Mobile applications.
    • Documents and communicates technical solutions to meet company and industry quality standards
    • Serve as the technical architect on new products and technologies
    • Analyses the impact of process or technical tool changes on existing processes, tools, and interfaces based on knowledge of interdependencies of related functions and systems
