.net developer (Remote)

Job Description

Petroleum Transport Company, Inc., a growing petroleum carrier with terminals located throughout the southeast, is currently seeking a .Net Developer for our Corporate Office in Pilot Mountain, NC area. This is a contract position working on several special projects within the company on a part-time basis.The candidate for this position will work independently in a self directed capacity and occasionally participate in a team environment to accomplish projects. In this position the individual should the following:

Remote work acceptable, but require 2 or more days/week on site in Pilot Mountain, NC

• SQL Programming and development using MS-SQL 2012 and up
• Development of stored procedures, functions, views and triggers.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL queries and process
• Design relational databases including tables, views and other SQL server objects
• Work independently to implement projects using tools such as MS, .NET (ASP, C#); SQL Server Query Analyzer, SSIS, TFS etc
• Design based on requirement definitions, produce standardized, detail design docs with time estimates for individual projects
• Working knowledge of with XML and EDI (ANSI X12) documents
• MS Office with strong understanding of Excel
• Good working in a team environment and communicating
• Self-learner with excellent organization skills
• Produce unit test plans to demonstrate understanding and achievement of the required results and test individual projects
• Work within time constraints to meet project deadlines
• Identify and communicate issues with project status
• Perform data analysis and validations

Qualifications

• BS or AS in Computer Science with 3+ year of related experience or with equivalent experiences in .NET programming and SQL
• 3+ years of related in-depth experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Development using SQL 2012 and up
• 2+ years of experience with the following: SSIS Packages and ETL Processing
• .NET(VB, ASP, C#), Web Services
