.NET Developer - Greenfield Project - Multiple Roles
Three .NET Developers required for a Greenfield project with our client in Glasgow. The organisation is one of Scotland's biggest and best-known software companies, renowned for developing complex, cutting edge global software solutions for a range of household names that you will instantly recognise - so a great one for your CV! Their environment and approach are modern, forward thinking and you will solve complex challenges in a fast-paced environment. They have recently adopted more Agile approach, so any experience working as part of a Scrum team would be beneficial but if not, this will allow you to gain further exposure to this way of working. The company has always had an interest in modern development technologies, tools and techniques and you will build enterprise level SaaS solutions from end to end, alongside some of some of the most talented programmers in Scotland.
This is a great opportunity if you have struggled to make a move to contracting due to a notice period in your permanent contract - this is the job for you. My client is interviewing ASAP with a view to starting candidates in April to account for notice periods! It's an initial 6 months but there is a strong chance of being extended long term. This is a stable and safe 'first-step' into the world of contracting.
In addition to good Software Development skills you should have strong communication skills - the organisation favour a communicative and collaborative working style. You should have experience of building multi-layered ASP.NET MVC based web applications and exposure working in an agile environment.
Their offices are in an easily accessible part of Glasgow - with ample free parking and good public transport links.
