Purpose of the Role
Give a brief overview of the job, its context in The Client and the contribution it makes
A Lead full stack .Net Core developer with strong client framework skills such as Angular 7 is required to work within the in-house development team to develop green-field applications.
Main Duties:
Development transactional web applications with C# .NET Core including ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
Building single page applications (SPAs) at scale using popular client libraries such as Angular or React.
Background in data-centric applications and enterprise database platforms including MSSQL and Oracle.
Service oriented architecture and micro services.
Cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS, and knowledge or experience of IaaS, PaaS & SaaS. Cosmos DB
Develop application using containers such as Docker
Test-driven development and behaviour-driven development.
Recent hands-on experience of developing transactional digital services.
Experience of IIS and Windows-based hosting environments.
Working knowledge of source control management systems.
Experience of working in an Agile environment using Scrum or similar approach
Understand the strategic objectives of the organisation and how digital services can be put to best use to meet those objectives.
Describe and communicate requirements effectively to developers.
Mentoring a team of developers with a range of technical capabilities in a collegiate and collaborative manner.
Support and challenge Technical Architects
Design and Build WebAPi and RESTful API interfaces
Experience
Minimum 3 years development experience
Minimum of 1 year .Net Core development experience
Experience of dependency injection / inversion of control or similar design patterns
Experience of automated unit testing
