Mobile Application Developer (Remote)

Role: Mobile App Developer

Location: REMOTE

Mode : Contract, 8 months, may extend - Possibility to go C2H

Description –

• Must have Kotlin and/or Swift experience. Very strong preference for experience in both iOS and Android.
• Yes, can work remotely for this engagement. Majority of team works MST time zone.
• Preference: candidates should have own work from home/home office equipment (i.e. laptop and/or workstation) if at all possible.

Job Description:

Identify and plan for new features

Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality

Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications and protocols

Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps

Work closely with colleagues to constantly innovate app functionality and design

Use and adapt existing web applications for apps

Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions

Communicate with users to understand their needs and experiences

Qualifications for Mobile Developer

3+ years of demonstrable experience - must have experience in Kotlin and/or Swift

Familiarity with OOP design principles

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude

Ability to perform in a team environment

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to interpret and follow technical plans

Excellent communication, both written/verbal

Strongly Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in related industry; any industry-related certs also a plus

Preferred: demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market (solo or team effort both ok)
