Experience required:
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
To deliver changes to existing and new MI reports following the MI delivery process to scope, design, build, test and distribute the reports such that they meet agreed business requirements and align to MI standards.
Key responsibilities :
1. Requirements and Design
Assist stakeholders from across the business to capture complete and accurate requirements by feeding in technical and system knowledge. Design solutions within the scope of the MI infrastructure which align to MI standards and will meet requirements.
2. Development and Delivery
Following design, develop and test both tactical and strategic solutions that meet requirements. Manage changes and additions to the MI estate (codebase and documentation) and participate in deployments.
3. Peer Reviews
Conduct impartial reviews of other MI Developers' work and provide professional and constructive feedback to support the accurate delivery of requirements and alignment to standards.
4. Support MI Admin
Support the MI Administration function (such as holiday or sickness cover) to ensure key team deliverables are distributed in line with agreed timelines.
5. Documentation
Complete all documentation to a high standard to ensure continuity of service across the team and to assist in ongoing support.
