NOTE: Looking for DataStage (IIS) and Need a java developer resource with Looking for a Middleware developer resource with MessageBroker and DataStage experience to work with existing Sys Admins on a CC&B (v 2.4 to 2.6)/Maximo (v 7.5 to 7.6) upgrade project. No Utility domain experience or CC&B/Maximo experience required although it's a nice to have. Resource must be able to effectively build new integrations in DataStage and MB and ensure there are no issues with existing integrations. Prefer onsite resource in the Hammonton North office, possibility for remote work but depends on the resource. Will SKYPE non local candidates and even hire off a phone screen if the candidate is strong.

Summary

The Middleware Developer has primary responsibility for building/creating new or edit existing integrations. Contribute in various areas of design, development, release and maintenance across our applications foot-print. We are looking for people who are committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and desire to build quality integrations. To monitor, trouble shoot, analyze and address production issues in a timely manner

Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience with middle-ware/back-end integration
• Elevate code into the development, test, and Production environments on schedule. Provide follow-up Production support. Submit change control requests and provide documentation.
• Lead the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of one or more enterprise middleware platforms, including installing new software releases and upgrades, evaluating and installing patches.
• Plan, design, and develop integrations in a multi-instance environment. Implements and maintains the architecture necessary for application integration with other applications/systems (both cloud and on-prem).
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical problems with Enterprise systems to include application, database, and server problems.
• Manages the integrity of security design and engineering for enterprise applications and systems, including the implementation of backup and recovery processes.
• Ensures the performance and reliability of middleware systems (DataStage - IIS & Message Broker - IIB) by monitoring these systems for high availability, load balancing, and satisfactory response time and working with other information technology professional to resolve performance issues.
• Provides programming/scripting assistance to support ERP system automation; debugs and tunes/optimizes SQL statements.
• Design effective and efficient solution to meet the integration requirements
• Perform effective developer testing of the code and deliver code to QA and follow up to confirm complete resolution
• Review code written by peers as needed and come up with improvement

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a directly comparable field.
• 2+ years’ experience fine tuning & building IIS and IIB integrations across enterprise applications (on prem and cloud).
• 2+ years of exposure with full stack software development experience in Java 8 – OOP, memory management, concurrency (multithreading), JDBC, collections, and performance monitoring
• Good familiarity with Windows & Linux OS.
• 2+ years of Hands-on experience with REST API and SOAP web services
• 2+ years of experience using JMS, XSLT, XML and JSON

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 plus years of current, professional level experience implementing and maintaining Enterprise applications, databases, and servers.
• At least one year of experience administering complex systems across an enterprise.
• Experience and knowledge of Utility Enterprise Systems
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Oracle software applications required

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 to $65.00 /hour
