Job Description:

To meet the requirements of Article 29 relating to the Growth of Hemp and Public Health Law Article 33 to regulate the sale of Cannabinoid (CBD) products, as part of a collective effort carried out by AGM, DOH and ITS, the scope of this project is to implement online licensing Portal on NYBE platform which integrates with AGM and DOH back-office workflows. The project will deliver an online application for entities looking to apply to be either a processor/manufacture for Hemp CBD or retail location. 

Job Duties:

The consultant will be performing tasks including:  

• Understand project goals and objectives. 
• Work with business analysts to understand requirements.
• Analyze data and conduct proof of concept to translate report requirement to the specification document for reports.
• Design, develop, test and deploy reports based on project requirements, following SDLC/SSDLC principles and ITS best practice standards. Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. 
• Work as a peer with other developers, to discuss database schema and data flow, to review specifications and code, and to have all other necessary communication.
• Participate in project meetings. Provide status on work activities. Use source control SVN and incident management tool ALM. Resolve defects found in testing.
• Create documentation and share knowledge with team members. 

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 72 months of experience with SAP Crystal Reports, or Microsoft SSRS, in the areas of designing, developing, testing and deploying reports
• 60+ months of experience with MSSQL and Oracle database, with capability of understanding the relational database using ERD and data flow documents
• 72 months of experience writing complex SQL and stored procedure and packages against an enterprise database such as MSSQL and Oracle, with capability of performance tuning, and being familiar with tools such as SSMS and SQL Developer
• 72 months of experience in interpreting the requirements provided by business analyst and having a good understanding of translating the requirements to report design layout, and a good understanding of mapping the design and the underlying data sources
• 60 months experience with XML and JSON
• 60 months experience in source control using SVN
• 60 months experience in incident management including Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management tool
• 48+ months experience with providing data search in Oracle Service cloud, for example using Internal Facing Console
