Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions Architect (Remote)

Our global client is currently looking to recruit a Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions Architect on an initial 3 month contract but likely to extend for 12months +. You will work as part of Cloud Transformation Programme that will need to take a lead in technical architecture design working with stakeholders of all levels and across various IT Teams to ensure you deliver secure and compliant cloud infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will be experience and have skills in the following areas:

• End to end solutions design with focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions.
• Working on complex multi vendor projects
• Working on enterprise large scale milti-tier infrastructure in a global environment
• Designing solutions that comply with security policies and frameworks
• Cloud based (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) technologies including MS Azure and Office 365
• Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and continuous testing techniques and tools
• Presenting and delivering designs
• Understanding of modern software licensing models and cost optimisation strategies (ie TCO) for Cloud hosted solutions
• Managing and working with 3rd party suppliers and other technical resource.

Preference will also be given to candidates who hold Azure Certifications/Microsoft Certifications and/or are TOGAF Certified. It would be advantageous to have past experience in the Retail, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or Logistics sector however this is not essential

This role is classed as Nottingham based and will require time in the office however remote working is also available with this role.
