Job Description:
The client is seeking a Metricstream Developer IV to design, develop, and implement applications using Appstudio and using languages like PL/SQL, JavaScript and HTML to support business requirements. Developer IV performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
Analyze, evaluate, design and develop, customize MetricStream software based on Business requirements
Identify gaps, creatively design and code workarounds, product extensions, customizations as required to meet customer needs
Experience in developing database objects such as functions procedures, packages, cursors using PL/SQL and writing complex queries.
Provide Production support, debug the issues and provide solutions to issues/enhancements
Provide solutions to the team and guide the team in approaching solution
Participate in story discussions and Story Point estimations
Metricstream AppStudio Knowledge is required
SME knowledge in GRC APPS ( Issue Management,Risk Assessment, Loss Events, ORM, IA, Ethics, Polices and Documents Management)
AWS Development Knowledge is a Plus
Have excellent written and oral communication skills
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 8-10 yrs. technical experience working with MetricStream software
Minimum 5-8 yrs. of experience working with Java, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript , HTML
5-8 yrs. of experience building integrations between applications using REST APIs
Strong team player with a great attitude
Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end.
Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.
