Mechanical Design Engineer Contract London

3 Months with possible further extension

Prospero Engineering require a contractor for a 3-6 month contract based in Central London.

Main Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for designing automation machinery and assembly stations for a semi automated assembly line of plastic components and you will be able to demonstrate at least 8 years experience.
• You will be responsible for creating 3D designs in Solidworks
• You will be expected to define BOM’s
• Used to designing mechanisms, structural frames and fixtures, specification for manufacture.

The role offers flexibility where you can work in office or home or combination. If from home would need good internet access to support file sharing, Webex, Skype. and a seat of Solidworks can be provided. You will need to be in the office at least 1 day a week.
