Maximo Consultant (Remote)

Seeking a consultant with advanced Maximo configuration experience to support a hydro-electric project in Grant County. The location for work is at the Wanapum Dam and can be a combination of on-site + remote work. This is full-time work, M-F or M-Th; flexible for a 6-9 month project.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge in Technical modules preferred; knowledge in business module applications a plus.
  • Must have configuring experience
  • Modules they are using or will be using, with plans to add additional:

o Forms/Inspection Rounds

o Workflow

o Health & Safety

o Scheduling

o Track Clearances

o Timekeeping

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively collaborates with business users to understand their needs, requirements and capability gaps.
  • Strategizes, designs and implements solutions to increase work efficiency and capabilities.
  • Responsible for staying aware of new technology, methodologies, and the software roadmaps for supported systems.
  • Capable of refining general user requirements and problem statements into functional and non-functional technical requirements and solutions.
  • Performs business system software analysis and researches appropriate best practices, implementation patterns and solution options to maximize benefits and facilitate high user performance.
  • Provides technical leadership, guidance and subject matter expertise on the supported systems portfolio.
  • Strong competence and knowledge in the capabilities of supported solutions and understands how solutions are implemented and deployed within the environment.
  • Act as technical lead on medium-large projects.
  • Works closely with the Power Production Engineering, Craft, & IT
  • Provides software application support including incident and problem management. Conducts performance testing and troubleshooting on applications.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or other related degree. Five plus years’ experience in a business systems analysis, IBM Maximo, technical solution design, computer/user application support, or similar role.
