MARKIT EDM TEST ANALYST - ASSET MANAGEMENT
As a member of the Finance Systems and Change Team you will report to the ADS Team Manager working within the newly created IT Function.
The ADS team is responsible for delivering application support, development and management of the ADS to support the growing requirements of the Finance Data Management Team.
- Rate: £500-£550 a day
- Location: Central London
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To perform end to end testing of regulatory EDM application under tight timescales. Testing will involve both functional enhancements as well as fixes for production incidents.
- To work with technical and business stakeholders in understanding scope of new functionality and effect of defect fixing for production incidents.
- To define and execute all levels of end to end testing to a pre-defined level of quality and agreed timescales e.g. test scripts, test cases, test conditions and test data.
- To analyse requirements and functional / technical specification to determine acceptance criteria for end to end testing.
- To report and prioritise faults identified during end to end testing cycles using the specified fault management system and test subsequent fixes.
- To demonstrate excellent hands on testing experience and a detailed knowledge/ experience of test management and defect management.
- To work proactively with stakeholders, developers to ensure that test faults are understood and resolved and that appropriate regression testing is undertaken.
- To work individually to proactively identify improvements in existing test standards, processes and policies for all stages of the M&GP development processes.
- To execute manual test scripts as designed.
- To work with projects to ensure that the regression test suites are updated to reflect the new requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of and experience testing Enterprise Data Management applications such as Markit EDM (highly desirable), Eagle Pace, Goldensource.
- Solid experience with all aspects of functional testing
- Extensive experience defining and documenting Test Plans articulating scope & objectives of each test plan.
- HP Quality Centre experience or Atlassian Jira experience (Essential).
- Ability to write test scripts based on Software Requirement Specifications
- Experience of conducting UAT support and interacting with business users
- Experience in writing queries and scripts through SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2016
- Experience of testing content management systems and automation tools
