Lead UX/UI Designer (Remote)

UX/UI Designer with Axure and Adobe XD

We are seeking a strong process oriented UXUI designer to join our team. We have a start-up culture and as such, will be counting on you to come in and be a difference maker. Our ideal candidate takes ownership, has a keen eye for details, has grit, and is passionate.

The consulting opportunity requires prior experience with Axure, Adobe XD, brand style guides, design systems and components, component states, Adobe XD, wireframing, and designing prototypes. Academic and practical experience in conducting user interviews, researching direct and indirect competitors, design strategy, scoping actionable plans, persona development, user journeys, storyboards, sitemaps, user flows, and visual identity.

Strong knowledge and prior experience with designing for front end engineering handover is desired.

A strong portfolio exhibiting the above and or prior experience with SaaS or B2B environments is preferred for this consulting opportunity.

Responsibilities

· SaaS platform UXUI design

· Guide product decisions through user research and persona development

· Direct and indirect competitor research

· Low fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes

· Interpreting storyboards to tell visual stories that support learning.

· Focus on user-centered design principles to create intuitive and highly functional web, visual, and interaction design

· Present design concepts and negotiate with stakeholders to arrive at a design that supports both the business and a strong user experience

· Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.

· Ability to quickly prototype designs in tools and specifically Adobe XD, and Adobe CC

Requirements

· Mastery of user-centered design principles and practices

· Experience with design systems and design hand off to front end engineering

· Strong UI design, including but not limited to, concepts, prototypes, and data visualization

· Iterative & fractal processes (can be applied to a whole product, individual features, UI elements, etc.)

· Experience creating sitemaps, wireframes, and customer journeys

· Innovative, creative problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

· The ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.

· Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time.

· Proven ability delivering high quality designs

· Ability to design and envision experiences iteratively in a lean environment

· Proficiency in UX and UI disciplines and trends.

· Experience developing rapid prototypes

· Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening) and working in a fast pace startup setting

· Experience with branding exercises, brand style guides and brand concepts is a plus
