Essential skills:

  • SME G1 functional knowledge (Must Have)
  • Strong UniData management skills (Must Have)

Useful to have:

  • Equity Finance domain experience (Stock Borrowing/lending, Collateral management, lifecycle)
  • Strong Perl skills
  • Strong Unix scripting experience
  • Strong SQL experience (Sybase or Oracle or SQL Server)
  • Exposure to Server/UI side Java development using Java 6/7, Spring framework (JDBC, WebMVC, JMS, JMX(Mbeans), Integration), Openadaptor, Hibernate, Javascript, JMS (MQ series), Servlets/JSP/JSTL, log4j, JAXB, XMLBeans, MDBs, Testing with JUnit. Project building with Maven, continuous integration experience. Sybase stored procedures

Soft skills:

  • Results orientated with good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills - Ability to interpret Functional specifications and create technical specifications for development
  • Positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple work threads at one time
