Lead Android Developer | Remote | Banking

I am currently looking for a Lead Android Developer to join a major retail banking client on a fully remote, 6-month rolling contract to start ASAP.

These roles will be central to the expansion of the current team and the development of new products and services. All senior engineers and tech leads are still very much hands-on. This role is fairly delivery focussed so although you may not be coding all day every day, you must be conformable with the tech stack.

Skills/Experience

• Extensive Android development experience
• Experience working with Java, Kotlin, and ideally Android Studio
• Experience with Spring Boot and Maven.
• Understanding of DevOps tooling eg Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and Nexus.
• Ideally previous experience building payment apps in the retail banking sector

This role will be fully remote throughout and will be 6 months rolling. Due to the nature of the work, the role will be inside IR35 and paying from £520p/d to £540p/d.
