Position: JAVA Full Stack Engineer
Location: Durham NC.
Duration: Long Term
Citizen & GC holders
Most candidates are going to be working from home initially until offices open back up, and then they will be expected to be in NC. However, this manager is requesting that and is flexible on the expertise as long as they have good Java & Angular 4+ development with Typescript.
That person better be good though in terms of at least 6 years of Java/J2EE development, 2+ years of Angular 4+, Spring, SQL, REST API development and CICD tools.
Looking for a candidate interested in learning new skills and clear communication skills.
6+ years of Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
Technical Stack Required: Java 8, Spring framework (Microservices/Boot preferred), Web Services development (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers, SQL expertise, Oracle preferred and Angular 2/4+ with Typescript.)
Required Expertise:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 6+ years of development experience (currently hands on) in Java 8, Spring MVC / Spring Core / Web Services (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers.
• 5+ years of development experience in JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, Jquery, Backbone, Angular 5 or higher , NodeJS, Jasmine, Protractor.
• Working experience with Design patterns, UML
• Test Driven Development, Junit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor
• Working experience with IDE’s Spring Tool Suite, and Eclipse/NetBeans/IntelliJ, within a UNIX and Windows environment.
• Application build, deploy using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, etc.
• Writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment.

• Developer/AWS certification is a plus
• Understanding of HIPPA, SOC1, GDPR is a plus
• Understanding of docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS or azure) will be a plus

Responsibilities:
Be able to communicate key requirements, and will need to be able to develop partnership and a spirit of collaboration and commitment within the project team
Must have a flexible attitude and be able to comfortably accommodate change
Define, maintain, and support Java/Angular development environments and standard methodologies, such as Maven, Sonar, and other Open Source tools.
Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and nonproduction environment and perform troubleshooting.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using Open Source frameworks.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and initiatives.
