Junior Software Engineer

We are seeking a number of Junior Software Engineers who are seeking a long term career with JP Morgan based in Glasgow for an initial 6 months contract with the view to go permanent thereafter. You should have at least some experience working as a Developer with any of the following skills: Java, Spring, AngularJS or ReactJS.

Job Brief

JP Morgan Private Bank has a new initiative to digitalise the client onboarding platform. The bank wishes to streamline the onboarding process of it's clients into the Wealth Management line of business and to do this they are creating a new development team in Glasgow.

Key Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience in at least one of the following technologies: Java/Spring Boot, React/Angular
• Experience in developing n-tier / distributed systems or large scale SPA applications
• Experience in an Agile working environment

Desirable Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in one of the following areas: Cloud Native development, Front End Development, Distributed Systems, Infrastructure
• Interest in learning new technologies/programming languages
• Solid understanding of general design patterns
