Jira Developer - Contract /FTE - Both

Job Summary
Essential Skills and Competencies:

• As a JIRA developer, need to develop and maintain automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA and other Atlassian products including tool administration and customization.
• Create JIRA projects, queries, and reports.
• Good hands-on experience on JQuery, JIRA triggers and post-functions.
• Well understanding on JIRA Webhooks and CI Integration and tools plugins.
• Develop plugins and deploy to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, support JIRA configurations.
• Design custom JIRA workflow for different issues types to assist in Automation of provisioning, build & deploy servers and applications as well as other continuous integration workflows

Experience creating JIRA templates, custom issues and custom forms and attributes.

• Responsible for developing plugins and gadgets that extend the JIRA capabilities using Atlassian Plugin SDK 6.x
• Develop creating JIRA templates, complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA
• Experience in using/extending REST Services provided by Atlassian.
• Perform the duties of a JIRA engineer and responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrade, and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence and integrations with other tools or plugins.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle; preferably with Agile Kanban/Scrum
Work experience in Groovy, JavaScript, XML and should have utilized this skill set in multiple projects
