Java EE Developer
Location: South Riding, VA
Duration: 2 months
Responsibilities:
As an Enterprise Java Developer, you will be responsible for building and testing a Java EE application for a tier-1 cellular network operator
You will be responsible for developing web services and back-end business logic, ensuring implementation of modern security practices and protocols, and all aspects of software testing
Work closely with the Sr. Java EE Developer, telecom engineers, and network architects who will provide guidance on application requirements
Responsible for writing and testing high quality code in Java EE
Create detailed technical documentation of application features and functionality and user guidelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required since you will be interacting with the client during regular meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related
3-5 years’ experience in object-oriented software design and development for Java EE
Qualifications:
Experience with Java EE, JSF, CDI, PrimeFaces, EJB 3, HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery/AJAX, XML, and JSON
Strong knowledge and professional experience developing Enterprise Java applications using NetBeans IDE and Glassfish in a Windows environment
Expert coding capabilities with RESTful web services, Java Persistence API, JDBC, Java EE Security, and Java SE
Highly skilled in unit and integration testing
Experience with Maven, Git, or similar
Excellent technical communication skills
Ability to be subject matter expert (SME) in all topics related to Java Enterprise application development and mentor to other staff
