JavaScript/Node Developer - Mid-level (Remote)

Data Compass is a global platform that connects world-class software developers with great companies. We are in search of contractors who can work remotely and work for companies in Data Compass Network.

We are looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer well-versed in JavaScript and Node.

We are looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of programming experience.
• Familiarity with Express
• Familiarity with MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and another database (SQL or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with the use of sockets.
• Experience with basic HTML and CSS.
• Experience with OOP and intermediate Algorithms.
• Familiarity with HTTP request/response and on how to create scalable systems.
• Familiarity with Ajax.

Additional value if you:

• Are familiar with Angular, React, or another front-end framework.
• Are familiar with AWS and Docker.
• Have worked in systems that needed to scale.
