Investigo Change Solutions have been engaged to identify a JavaScript/React Developer to be instrumental in building and integrating key components for a financial services client based in London.

To apply you must have -

• At least 5 years of core development experience in JavaScript/React/GraphQL.
• Practical knowledge of modern HTML & CSS. Need to produce clean, responsive, hand-written, semantic code.
• Experience building web apps with JS/ES6 and React.js with excellent working knowledge of modern development platforms and methodologies, in particular API gateways, SSR, CSS in JSX (Glamorous), cloud and serverless infrastructure.
• Practical knowledge of relevant security protocols, digital certificates & writing applications that consume HTTP-based RESTful APIs.
• Significant experience consuming and interacting with APIs.
• Knowledge of and experience of using best software design patterns and best software development practices of frontend web application design.
• Practical knowledge of testing tools and linters: Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, JSLint etc.
• Practical knowledge of UI build toolchain: Babel, Parcel, Webpack, or similar, CSS pre-processors: SASS, Stylus, or similar.
• Experience turning wireframes into code.
• UI/UX design experience
• Thirst for and knowledge of emerging technologies, including Blockchain, BigData and Serverless.

Key deliverables and responsibilities will include;

• Working in a multi-disciplined agile project team, to deliver core business components over the next 6-12 months.
• Work alongside other developers with products built in JS, using React
• Take ownership of own quality, to write well-formed and fully documented code.
• Support the product owner, scrum master, tech architect, other developers and testers in the team to correctly document, size and prioritise stories.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.

This is a contract role based in London paying £600-650pd, dependent on experience. It will be for an initial 6 months with significant chance of extension.
