The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in core Java
• Experience in service oriented architecture concepts such as, REST, XSD, XML parsing, and Web Services client and service development
• Knowledge and understanding of frameworks
• Software development experience in a professional environment

Technical knowledge essential for this role:

• Java 8
• Spring MVC
• Javascript
• JQuery
• Apache Tiles
• CSS
• Rest Web Services
• Maven
• Git
• JBoss
• IntelliJ / Eclipse
• Jenkins

The candidate ideally, will also be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of integration via an ESB
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of Software Delivery Life Cycle and Agile practices
• Delivery of complex solutions to time and budget
• Previous experience of working in a financial services and/or regulated industry

Technical knowledge of the following is desirable, but not essential for this role:

• Gerrit
• Sonarqube
