Java Developer - Contract Outside IR35

Join a leading ecommerce company who are looking for a Java Developer to help build the next generation of their delivery platform. This company is based just North of London, they will be working remotely for the time being but long-term are looking for engineers who can commute 30 minutes North of London 3-4 days a week.

To be suitable for this Java Developer position you need to be highly skilled, self-motivated, and passionate about development. The Java Developer (AWS, Kafka) would be joining a fast-paced environment on an initial 3-month contract, strong potential for multiple extension and become long-term. The Java Developer (AWS, Kafka) will be working on exciting projects using Java11, AWS, Kafka, Spring Boot. This particular team work using pair programming and agile practises.

Java Developer - Contract Outside IR35

To be considered for this role the Java Developer should have:

  • Extensive experience using Java8+ (preferably Java11)
  • Experience deployed microservices in AWS
  • Use of Spring Boot
  • Strong communicator
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methods, specifically TDD
  • Comfortable with pair programming
  • Worked with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
