Java Developer - Remote due to COVID, then Richmond , VA

Large Financial institution is looking for Java developers with various levels of experience. Position is remote due to COVID, then Richmond, VA

ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE US CITIZEN, GREEN CARD OR EAD – NO SPONSORSHIP REQUIRED – NO H1B OR 3RD PARTY

Job Description:

• - Java back end or full stack
• - Spring Spring/boot
• - Building Microservices or APIs Built in JAVA
• - AWS Cloud, (more than EC2)....S3 Buckets, Route 53, Elastic Cache, EMR, AWS Glue etc-native cloud development
• - No SQL data basesCassandra, MongoDB or DynamoDB
• - Node.JS is a plus...not necessary
• - Any knowledge of Big data or streaming data with Apache Spark, Scala, Kafka etc is a plus...not necessary
• - Candidate should have solid understanding in data migration and continuous data flow concepts in the cloud and be a team player
• - knowledge of card data or payment processing is a BIG plus

Compensation:

Sr Leads - $80-$85/Hr – 10+ years
Leads - $70-$75/Hr – 8+ years
Mids/Jrs - $50-$65/Hr – 3-6 years

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Java: 3 years (Required)
• NoSQL: 1 year (Required)
• Spring: 1 year (Required)
